Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills fought through a turnover-filled first half to beat the Miami Dolphins 21-14 and win the AFC East.

The first half of the game was filled with miscues from the Bills, yet they still trailed just 14-7 at halftime. Allen threw a pair of interceptions in the first quarter — one on a goal-line stand and the other from Miami’s 35. Buffalo also had a misfire late in the first half when Allen threw a short pass to Ty Johnson, who was stuffed at the goal line as time expired, leaving the Bills unable to get on the board again before the end of the half.

Things didn’t get any better early in the second half. While the Bills made it into the red zone on their second drive out of the locker room, turnovers struck again as Allen fumbled.

The momentum shifted after the Bills’ defense forced a three-and-out in the third quarter. The Dolphins punted it away and Deonte Harty returned it 96 yards to the house to tie the game.

From there, things started to go Buffalo’s way. The Bills took the lead on their next offensive drive before forcing a fourth-straight Dolphins punt. They then sealed the game with an interception with just over a minute to play.

The second-half turnaround from Buffalo had NFL fans praising Allen and the Bills. While it wasn’t Allen’s prettiest game, he came through for the Bills when it mattered and willed the team to an AFC East title.

With the win, the Bills clinched the No. 2 seed in the AFC and their fourth-straight AFC East title. Buffalo will now face the Pittsburgh Steelers next week in the wild-card round.

Buffalo holds all the momentum in the world after winning five straight to close out the regular season. Now, the Bills will look to carry their momentum into the playoffs.
