Jordan all-round show in vain as Hurricanes crash to clinical defeat

Chris Jordan #ChrisJordan

Hobart Hurricanes opted to bat first, but were blown away by consecutive wickets from Behrendorff’s first over, as he picked up Ben McDermott and Sam Hain in successive deliveries. The dangerous Tim David was dismissed by Behrendorff soon after, followed by Caleb Jewel, leaving the Hurricanes reeling at 28-4. Corey Anderson’s struggle was ended by Andrew Tye, before a 56-ruin stand between Nikhil Chaudhary and Michael Owen staged a recovery, and after their dismissals, Chris Jordan took over, adding 65 runs in 28 balls with Patrick Dooley to lift the Hurricanes to a competitive score.
