After weeks of the now infamous Depp vs Heard trial we finally got a verdict, finding Amber Heard guilty of fabricating claims to damage Depp’s reputation.

Depp was declared the winner on nearly every count. Heard’s countersuit was unsuccessful, but not completely.

Depp was awarded $15 million in damages after a jury determined that Heard had defamed him. Heard was awarded $2 million for her defamation claims.

Fans of the “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor have celebrated on social media using one of the most iconic phrases of the franchise.

The high-profile case has drawn widespread attention, with millions of people tuning in to watch every second of the trial. It is without a doubt one of the most closely watched public trials in recent memory. It was difficult to remain unaware of the trial due to social media.

Following Depp’s victory, the internet quickly circulated a slew of Aquaman actress memes in his honor. Trolls and meme-makers on the internet are never easy on anyone, especially someone who has just lost a major case and possibly her career.

Johnny Depp did have a good legal team on his side. Camille Vasquez, in fact, rose to prominence as a result of her significant contributions in the courtroom. The internet adored her because she undoubtedly aided Depp’s victory.

Saul Goodman from the Breaking Bad spinoff Better Call Saul is one of the most popular lawyers on television, and other Twitter users had a similar idea. His accomplishments include catching a variety of criminals using unconventional and impressive methods. They ostensibly also include returning to the real world and assisting Johnny Depp.

The jury ruled in favor of Heard’s countersuit after Depp’s lawyer called her allegations a hoax and awarded the actress $2 million in damages.

To reach a verdict, the seven-member civil jury had to reach a unanimous decision. They deliberated for about 12 hours over three days.

Being a civil and not a criminal case, Johnny Depp was absent during the final decision of the court. Currently, the actor is in the United Kingdom; in fact, over the weekend he was seen playing and singing at a concert.
