Joel Embiid not listed on injury report as Sixers prepare to face Nuggets

As the Philadelphia 76ers get ready to play host to the defending champion Denver Nuggets on Tuesday night, the status of Joel Embiid draws the most attention.

Embiid, who missed three games in a row with a left knee issue, returned on Monday in a win over the Houston Rockets. The big fella had 41 points on 12-for-21 shooting with 10 rebounds.

On the second night of a back-to-back, Embiid is not listed on the injury report so that is a good sign for Philadelphia.

While Embiid is on track to play, Mo Bamba (right knee fat pad impingement), Robert Covington (left knee inflammation), De’Anthony Melton (lumbar spine stress response), and Jaden Springer (right ankle tendinitis) are listed as out.

Danuel House Jr. is listed as questionable with lumbar spine contusion.

With Embiid not on the injury report at the moment, it looks as if everybody will get the Embiid vs. Nikola Jokic matchup at the Wells Fargo Center at 7:30 p.m. EST on Tuesday.
