Jim Goodwin, the beleaguered Aberdeen manager, insisted he will fight on for his job after their worst result in their 120-year history following their Scottish Cup defeat at sixth-tier Darvel. But the Irishman admitted he has been given no assurances for his job by chairman Dave Cormack, who was in Ayrshire watching his club’s humiliation.
