After the lightning and deluge, double rainbow and sunset on Monday, Jets fans put out their cigars, emptied red solo cups and hurried past peddlers selling “Rodgers That” T-shirts for $20 in the parking lot to fill MetLife Stadium for pre-game introductions at 8 p.m.

One by one, the Jets starters on offense sprinted from the tunnel toward midfield holding American flags in their right hand to commemorate lives lost amid the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001.
