Feeling the distance: Jesinta previously spoke about missing her husband of five years, Lance ‘Buddy’ Franklin, in a heartfelt post on Instagram
Just last week, Jesinta spoke about missing her husband in a heartfelt post on Instagram.
She revealed her AFL star husband had been away from home for a month after entering the football hub on the Gold Coast.
‘Lockdown love 4 weeks without @buddy_franklin23. We miss you! X,’ Sydney-based Jesinta captioned the post, tagging Buddy, 34.
‘I’m separated from Jes and the kids at the moment and it’s really hard to be away… there are lots of FaceTime calls in between, which really helps,’ Buddy told POPSUGAR Australia
She also included a black and white photo of the couple’s four-month-old son Rocky’s feet.
In an interview with POPSUGAR Australia earlier this month, Buddy spoke about how difficult it was to be away from his young family.
‘We take everything one day at a time,’ the Sydney Swans star admitted.

The Sydney Swans entered the AFL hub on the Gold Coast around three weeks ago, just before Sydney’s COVID crisis worsened.
Growing family: In addition to Rocky, Jesinta and Buddy are also parents to a 17-month-old daughter, Tullulah
The main aim of the hub is to protect the health and wellbeing of the team by creating a quarantine bubble around them.
It’s not the first time Buddy has been separated from his family during the pandemic, after he was forced to enter a ‘quarantine hub’ this time last year, too.
‘Not sure when I’ll see my husband next, he’s gone into an AFL quarantine hub for an unspecified amount of time. We already miss you @buddy_franklin23,’ Jesinta wrote on Instagram in July 2020.
History repeats: It’s not the first time Buddy has been separated from his family during the pandemic, after he was forced to enter a ‘quarantine hub’ this time last year, too
