Jeff Goldblum says he has no regrets about becoming a parent later on in life and waxed lyrical about how it has enhanced his own.

The Jurrassic World: Dominon actor, 70, is the proud dad of sons Charlie, seven, and River, five, whom he shares with dancer wife Emilie Livingston, 39.

Goldblum opened up to Jenna Bush Hager and Hoda Kotb – who at 58 has two young children herself – during an appearance on the Today show on Thursday (November 17).

He said: “It’s amazing, it’s revivifying, and makes my relationship with Emilie, frankly, enhanced. Seeing (my wife) in this new role is unbelievable. She’s heroic beyond imagination.”

Goldblum went on to tell how the family-of-four have a special dynamic that he cherishes, calling it “spectacular”, but he’s not afraid to admit that parenting is one tough job.

“And it’s challenging and it’s sometimes maddening and very volatile. As you know, at five, and seven, they can be like feral creatures unleashed. Oh yeah, and sweet and amazing. It’s great,” he added.

Elsewhere, it’s a busy time for the multi-talented star as he has recently released a new single called the Christmas Waltz.

The song was originally written for Frank Sinatra, who requested a new Christmas song and recorded it for the first time in 1954.

Goldblum’s take is a heartwarming jazz standard, which he recorded with his long-time band, the Mildred Snitzer Orchestra.
