…Lake Effect Snow Continues Across Southwest Michigan and Far Northern Indiana… * Surface observations and radar data continue to show several lake effect snow bands impacting the I-94 corridor between Michigan City and Benton Harbor this morning. These will also impact the Indiana Toll Road east of LaPorte along with portions of US 12, and US-31. Localized accumulations of up to 2 inches will be possible through early afternoon in these areas. Reduced visibility and slick roadways will produce hazardous driving conditions. Use excess caution if traveling in this area. These snow showers will begin to taper off as we head into the early afternoon hours.
