James Blunt didn’t just provide the breathy vocals for You’re Beautiful, he’s also the king of sassy putdowns on social media.
Unless you’ve been living under a cave for about a decade, you’ll be aware of some of Blunty’s frankly genius comebacks to the unbelievers of the world on Twitter.
His latest attack was fired at one gloom merchant, who wanted to know who the 46-year-old even is.
Never one to shy away from a verbal tussle, James replied: ‘I am the f**k James Blunt.’

While the troll was quick to delete their post, the damage had been done and James’ response has already racked up a cheeky 50,000 likes.

It comes just months after the Goodbye My Lover singer accused a fan of looking like someone who watches Love Island.
The follower had referenced the hit ITV2 show by tweeting a quote from an islander that read: ‘You look like someone who listens to James Blunt.’
James shot back: ‘You look like someone who watches Love Island.’
So simple, so cutting.
And let’s not forget the time he shut down a user who moaned about his performance on The Graham Norton Show last year.

‘Bruce Springsteen on the show and yet we have to listen to music from James f***ing Blunt,’ the follower had whined.
James fired back: ‘You got what you deserved.’
