Jaguars’ DJ Chark: Suiting up Sunday

Chark (ankle) is active for Sunday’s game against the Lions.

Chark’s status came down to a game-time call after he only managed one limited practice this week due to an ankle injury, but he demonstrated enough health in his pregame workout to receive the green light to play. The wideout is expected to handle his normal starting role Sunday, and he should benefit from a plus matchup versus a soft Lions pass defense that’s missing No. 1 cornerback Desmond Trufant (hamstring).
