Itzy’s Label JYPE To Take Legal Action Against Trolls Who Post Malicious Remarks: There Will Be No Leniency…

Popular K-Pop girl group Itzy was recently trolled on social media by several netizens. In fact, the majority of haters posted malicious remarks against the girl group. Hence, Itzy’s agency, JYP Entertainment, aka JYPE, has decided to take legal action against the people who posted malicious comments against the group. The label has issued a statement on social media.

Legal action against trolls for criticising Itzy

Itzy’s label company, JYP Entertainment, took to their official fancafe account, and shared a statement revealing that they will be taking legal action against the miscreants for posting malicious comments on the girl group. In the statement, the agency mentioned that they have secured the evidence of all the posts that insulted and defamed the honour and image of Itzy artists.

In the statement, JYPE stated, “Hello. This is JYPE. Through an internal and external monitoring system, we have thoroughly secured evidence of all actions that insult and defame the honour and image of our artists, such as malicious slander, circulation of false information, sexual harassment, illegal filming, and the creation and circulation of fake content, and are taking all possible legal action together with a specialised law firm.”

While warning about strict actions against the trolls, the agency added, ” We once again announce that we will continue to take strong civil and criminal action for all actions that are defamatory and disrupt the healthy activities of the artists and that there will be no leniency or settlement in that process. We ask fans who also have evidence of such violations to actively send in tips. We will do our best in order for no harm to be done to not only the artists but also to all the fans who love ITZY. Thank you.”

Now, Itzy fans are eagerly waiting for JYP Entertainment’s next move against the miscreants who defamed the girl group.
