ITV Tipping Point in hot water with viewers over contestant’s habit and even Ben Shephard agrees

Tipping Point viewers branded Loretta, a contestant on today’s edition of the show, the “worst” to ever appear.

Even presenter and host Ben Shephard – who was at the helm of the quiz show from 4pm today – looked a bit taken aback by her enthusiasm.

Fans were left flocking to social media over Loretta’s constant waffling and her personality, which some found grating.

“You almost talked the jackpot counter out the machine Loretta,” Ben told her at one stage.

“Loretta probably gonna make it to the final to p*** us all off,” said another.

“I had sympathy for Loretta at the start but now even I have reached my limit! Please button it, Loretta,” one fumed.

“Shut up, Loretta,” said a second.

A third commented: “She reminds me of a work colleague who used to talk and ask questions in every meeting, ALL the time. It really was draining. But at least she’s happy. #tippingpoint”

And a fourth said: “It’s funny seeing the reactions of people who’d never seen (or heard) Loretta before. Trust me, it only gets worse.”

“Somewhere there is a man with a tranquilliser and a human sized net looking for Loretta,” said a fifth.

“I don’t usually like negative comments but Loretta is doing my head in!” fumed another.

“Christ on a raft, we’re stuck with that cackling witch Loretta,” said another.

Tipping Point continues to air each weekday from 4pm with Ben hosting. Tonight’s edition was a repeat from 2018, according to the TV schedule.
