ITV has announced that it will not broadcast the final episode of its miniseries Viewpoint in the U.K. following a series of allegations against its lead star, the British actor, writer and producer Noel Clarke.

“ITV has a zero tolerance policy to bullying, harassment and victimisation and robust procedures in place to investigate and deal with any complaints. We strongly believe that everyone deserves to work in a supportive and safe environment,” ITV said in a statement.

“In light of the very serious nature of the allegations against Noel Clarke raised by 20 women in the Guardian’s report, ITV has decided it is no longer appropriate to broadcast the final episode of the drama Viewpoint on ITV main channel this evening.”

ITV added that it would make the final episode available on its ITV Hub platform for a limited time.

The decision comes less than a day after BAFTA suspended the Doctor Who actor following series of allegations were made about him — including sexual harassment and bullying —  in The Guardian. BAFTA came under fire for honoring Clarke with its outstanding British contribution to cinema award, but in a lengthy response Friday, it said it had only received anonymous accusations about Clarke prior to giving him the award and “did not have sufficient grounds to take action.”
