ITV Big Brother viewers fume as Paul clashes with Trish as he says ‘you’re in the wrong place’

Big Brother contestant Paul Blackburn made his feelings extremely clear in the latest episode as he clashed with fellow housemate Trish over his nighttime antics

Big Brother fans have been left in fits of rage after Paul Blackburn hit out at Trish as the housemates shared what was on their minds.

Following Friday’s eviction which saw model Zak become the second housemate to be sent home from the famous house, the contestants reflected on their two weeks. As they gathered around the dining table to share their issues, it all appeared to be kicking off between Liverpool-born Paul and Trish who grew up in Luton.

Gathering for the first house meeting, Trish read out the agenda as her fellow housemates applauded her. She said: “A chance for anyone to discuss any issues affecting the House.”

“Consideration!” she exclaimed before adding: “Which has come up a couple of times. I would just like to cover one. I think I’ve said this a little bit, it’s bedtime consideration. Sometimes the running around, the throwing things around. A part of coming here was to get away, I was like: I’m gonna get a real good rest.”

This didn’t go down too well with her housemates as Paul looked annoyed, while Dylan placed his head in his hands. Responding to Trish’s comments, Paul said: “Can I just say, you haven’t came to a luxury holiday resort, you’ve came to the Big Brother House and this is what’s going to happen.

“I don’t go to bed at home til about three in the morning and I am a hyperactive person. I’m not going to just go to bed early and if you can’t handle that then you’re in the wrong place. Nobody’s got any hierarchy apart from Big Brother in here so if you’re going to tell me what to do, I’ll purposefully not do it,” leaving his housemates stunned.

His response didn’t go down too well with fans of the show who instantly took to social media to share their frustration. Writing on X, formerly known as Twitter, one said: “If Paul talks to our Trish like that one more time… Trish was just doing the meeting like she was told to do – Paul is literally one of the most vapid childish garbo housemates we’ve seen in some time… I’d rather see him go sooner than Kerry and that’s saying something.”

“What is Paul’s problem with Trish like it’s getting a bit much at this point,” said a second. A third annoyed viewer went on to type: “Nah why is Paul getting loud to Trish? She’s not telling you when to go to bed…. She’s simply saying if you’re gonna run round screaming like a child when people are sleeping GO IN ANOTHER ROOM and do it.”
