It would just mean more hard work and we are fine with that, says Celesti Bairagey on her show Rajjo moving to a new time slot

TV actress Celesti Bairagey, who plays the lead actress in the TV show Rajjo, shares that she is not upset with the show moving to a new time slot. Rajjo, which was aired earlier at 7 pm is now moving to the 6.30 pm slot. Celesti said, “It just means more hard work, which we have been doing for a long time. We are fine with that. I am hoping that the viewers who watched us at 7 pm slot will continue to engage with us at 6.30 pm too. I am not really upset that the show will have a new time slot. It is a good story about the journey of an athlete and the hardships she undergoes in her journey, so I have enjoyed shooting for the show.” The actress also shared how Rajveer Singh, her show’s lead actor is her best friend in the show. She said, “From the time we shot for the show in Kulu Manali to now, Rajveer has been a great friend. He has helped me grow as an artiste and made things easier for a single girl who is new to Mumbai. And maybe that’s how our work connects with viewers. He is a thorough gentleman and apart from him, I also am good friends with Gungun Uprari, who plays my mother and Pakhi Hegde, who plays my mother-in-law in the show. Celesti plays the role of an athlete in the show. In an earlier interview to BT, she had said, “We shot for the show in Kulu in minus degree temperatures and did many difficult stunts. I am glad that the makers are nice and warm towards me because it is not easy for a small city girl to start shooting for such a challenging role. The show is all about the journey of an athlete and I am glad that my first show is something that I am proud of. Alia Bhatt’s role in Highway is my favourite and I hope in the future, I am able to do such roles and even meet her someday.”
