Israel Says Latest Strikes Killed Hamas Commanders

A strike on Gaza killed the head of Hamas’s aerial systems unit that was responsible for coordinating last Saturday’s assaults while another strike killed a commander who led the attack, the Israeli military said.
Israel continues to target Mohammed Deif, the head of Hamas’s military wing, and Yahya Sinwar, the group’s leader in Gaza. “The face of evil in the end is Yahya Sinwar. He’s the mastermind behind all this,” said Richard Hecht, a spokesman for the Israeli military. “He’s a dead man walking.”
