Not an ideally timed interview from Anthony Gordon this week, who made a big point about his positive injury record, but the forward has been forced off in the 36th minute with what looks like a knee problem.
That is a massive blow for Newcastle, given Gordon has scored 10 goals in all competitions this season and provided five assists. It is also a big blow for Gordon, given that Gareth Southgate, the England manager, is at Stamford Bridge tonight.
