Is Raven Symone Still Friends With Her ‘Cheetah Girls’ Co-Star Adrienne Bailon?

After resolving their differences, it seemed as if more drama was brewing.
Raven Symone and Adrienne Bailon have known each other for almost two decades, having first worked together on the 2003 Disney Channel flick The Cheetah Girls. The film was so popular that it would spawn two sequels, though Symone didn’t return for the final installment due to her work schedule clashing with filming dates.
Still, the former Cosby Show star played a huge role in the success of the female-led motion picture, and while the message in each film was always about sisterhood and friendship, many fans have wondered whether their close ties playing Galleria and Chanel, respectively, ever brought along a similar bond behind the scenes.
While they haven’t worked together again since their Disney days, it’s no secret that Symone and Bailon are very much still in contact with each other.
Nobody really knows how often they communicate, but when Symone appeared on The Real (which Bailon happens to be a co-host on), it seemed rather apparent that there was still a lot of love between the pair as they reminisced on some of their favorite memories together.

“I’m so happy to see you!” Bailon gushed during the interview. “I climbed on top of this girl and gave her the biggest hug of life. We go way back. It’s a Chu Chi and Bubbles reunion, we were in the Cheetah Girls together people.”
But that isn’t the only time fans have seen Symone and Bailon together.
Back in March 2020, they graced the stage at the Women’s March in Los Angeles, performing one of The Cheetah Girls’ most popular songs, “Together We Can.”
Both ladies posted clips and selfies of their joint performance on Instagram, which one again affirmed that as far as their friendship is concerned, they’re both still close.
“Yo #theangelsvoice @adriennebailon gaced [sic] us with her voice at @womensmarch what a great turnout!” The That’s So Raven star gushed in the caption of her Instagram post.

Bailon reacted by commenting, “Love you Bubbles.”
The following month, Symone also caught up with Kiely Williams, who was also part of The Cheetah Girls, but at the time of their run on Disney, it was claimed that the pair didn’t get along and that Williams was reportedly a troublemaker with some of her cast members.
In a bid to bury the hatchet, considering the two hadn’t spoken in well over a decade, Symone reached out to the former 3LW singer to mend whatever issues they had with one another, but after resolving their differences, it seemed as if more drama was brewing.
When Symone asked her co-star to get in touch with Bailon, she was against the idea, stressing that the latter didn’t show up to her father’s funeral which hurt her feelings because they were always close growing up.
Williams and Bailon knew each other long before Symone got in the picture since the two were part of the girl group 3LW along with Power actress Nature Naughton.
In response to whether she would want to get back in touch with Bailon and also settle her differences with her former bestie, the “No More” singer said, “No, she didn’t come to my dad’s funeral or call me when he died.

“No. I’m sorry and I’m not trying to be messy but I’m being for real with you. No. No. I’m sorry, I love you. I swear to God. Nope, and goes on to say, ‘You can say what you want about me and how you felt about me, but you can’t ever say that I didn’t f***ing ride for Adrienne. You can’t say that. So, like, no man. I didn’t do anything.’”
Symone tried to calm the situation by telling Williams that she’s been in a similar situation where a close friend chose not to invite her to their wedding, “and she met her husband through me. But I still talk to her because the history that we have for one another is so thick that she knows a part of you that nobody else knows.”
Their 20-minute Instagram Live session ended with Symone suggesting one again for Williams to see whether her mind will change somewhere down the line as far as having a conversation with Bailon was concerned, but she assured her that the issue would definitely be brought up the next time she spoke with the talk show host.
No word on whether or not the two have spoken since, but one thing that’s for sure is that Symone and Bailon are very much still cool with each other.
