Maddison looked to be in trouble but carried on for a bit
However, it appears as if Maddison has avoided serious injury.
Speaking to Sky Sports after the match, he said: “I jolted my knee a little bit, and you don’t want to be playing in a derby when you’re not at 100 per cent, so I had to come off.”
And to further boost Spurs fans, Ange Postecoglou also confirmed that the England international was fine.
He said: “Madders wasn’t 100 per cent going into the game but he got through it fine.”
So Maddison appears to have avoided any serious injury, which is great news for Spurs fans.
