Iran Stands With Palestinian Fighters, Says Iranian Official

An adviser to Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei said Iran supported the cross-border operation by Hamas militants.
Yahya Rahim Safavi said Iran would stand by the Palestinian fighters until they had liberated the Palestinian territories and Jerusalem, according to a statement published by the state-run ISNA news agency.
“We congratulate the Palestinian fighters for this operation,” he said.
