Big Brother has unveiled his latest surprise with six intruders invading the Big Brother house and turning the game upside down.
While the house was still reeling from the loss of Katie Williams, Big Brother wasted no time shaking things up once more.
Earlier this evening, six intruders were thrust into the house, but with only four spots up for grabs, they will have to compete to earn their place as fully-fledged housemates.

In typical Big Brother-style, the arrival of the intruders caught everyone off guard. Big Brother invited the original Housemates to a dinner party to celebrate making the top ten, only to reveal six fresh faces.

“They all seemed pretty heartbroken, just as they sat down to celebrate making the top ten at a dinner party, next thing they know, 16 people are vying for the top prize,” intruder Brenton Balicki told 7NEWS.com.au.

“We were at a big disadvantage coming in later,” the chef-turned-account-manager told 7NEWS.com.au.
“Like any game, Big Brother requires practice, and we walked into a game full of players that had been making moves for weeks.”

Joining Brenton in the house are five other big personalities who will look to make their mark and take home the top prize. Among them are 26-year-old twins Alex and Charlotte.
“They walk the same, they talk the same, and they dress the same,” said Brenton.
“They’re joined at the hip when the game begins.”

Offering the most significant threat is muscly FIFO worker Mitch, a combination of brains and brawn making him hard to beat.
“Mitch is a good guy and a real challenge beast. I think Australia will like him too, which makes him very dangerous.”

Rounding out the intruders is 26-year-old Gabe, initially born in the Philippines.
“He’s a quieter guy, but he seems ready to come out of his shell socially, and Big Brother might be his opportunity,” explained Brenton.
And finally, we have Adriana, a 53-year-old married mother of three who Brenton believes could cause serious problems for Big Brother’s all-conquering General, Daniel.

“I think Adriana will ruffle Danny’s feathers,” said Brenton.
“She’s genuine; she tells it how it is and loves to solve problems.”
The Look of Love
While Brenton may have joined Big Brother to win $250,000, the 31-year-old might end up going home with more than he bargained for.

“I was single going into the house, and I tried to find out as much info from the production team to see if there was someone on the show that might strike my interest,” said Brenton.
Big Brother’s matchmaking skills are unrivalled, and it appears that cupid’s arrow has struck once more, with Brenton and Christina hitting it off instantly.

“Her physical appearance drew me in, she’s gorgeous, but beyond surface-level, she has a lot of emotional intelligence, she reads the room well, she is easy to talk to, she’s a good ally in the house,” gushed Brenton.
“Initially, I was hesitant to lean into any one person until I got a better read on who was who in the zoo, but it became clear over the first few days that Christina and I had chemistry.”
Reading The Play
Now that the intruders have officially entered the game, the newcomers must try to infiltrate the alliances or risk being left out in the cold.
“My strategy was just to understand the key players in the house, but I got it very wrong at the start,” admitted Brenton.

“Danny is mighty, but I read him to be this fragile and broken old man when we first met him, but it didn’t take long to see his true colours.”
Also proving a difficult read was Tilly, who was visibly distressed when the intruders were revealed.
“She was shaken up by the fact that six new people had come along and crashed her party, so for the first few days, Tilly was quite closed off and didn’t want anything to do with the intruders,” said Brenton.

“But eventually, she warmed to us; you just don’t know what you’re going to get with Tilly.”
The same goes for Ari, who Brenton picks as the hardest person in the house to connect with.

“Ari is quite an intense character, and the way he behaves is very calculated,” said Brenton.
“He had managed to stay under the radar and dodge many evictions because he acts like a follower, not a leader, but he has it all figured out.”
