  • A flight departing from Jakarta, Indonesia has gone missing within four minutes of taking off, according to flight tracker website FlightRadar24.
  • Sriwijaya Air flight #SJ182 had been flying to Pontinak in Borneo, Indonesia which is around 740km from Soekarno-Hatta Airport.

    Sriwijaya Air flight #SJ182 had been flying to Pontianak in Borneo, Indonesia, around 740km from Soekarno-Hatta Airport. 

    The Boeing 737-500 lost more than 10,000ft of altitude in under a minute and an ADS-B signal was lost at 2.37 p.m local time.

    It has registration number PK-CLC (MSN 27323) and took its first flight in May 1996. 

    The plane is not a 737 Max that was recertified to fly again recently after two major crashes.
