India Inc Over The Moon As Chandrayaan-3 Makes Soft Landing On Lunar Surface

India Inc hailed Chandrayaan-3 Moon landing on the south pole at 6:04 pm on August 23. Indian and international business leaders congratulated India on becoming the fourth nation to complete a soft landing on the Moon, after the USA, Russia and China.

Mahindra and Mahindra Chairman Anand Mahindra, via a tweet said, “From the dawn of humankind we have gazed at the moon and let it work its magic on our minds. The moon turned us into dreamers. Today, magic & science merge and having the moon in our grasp will spark new dreams in the minds of 1.4 billion Indians. Jai Hind.”

Meanwhile, Gautam Adani tweeted, “Congratulations, ISRO! You are indeed the pride of the nation. A  country’s ability to execute space missions reflects her confidence and this is India’s time. A historic moment for our 1.4 billion citizens as our nation’s orbits continue to expand. Jai Hind.”

Paytm Founder Vijay Shekhar Sharma also tweeted on the milestone achievement, saying, “Take a bow.”

Ola Co-Founder Bhavish Aggarwal also took to the microblogging platform to share ISRO’s tweet. He wrote, “Such a proud day for all of us Indians! So inspired to dream bigger and bigger.”

At 6:04 pm, ISRO tweeted, “’India, I reached my destination, and you too!’: Chandrayaan-3.” Chandrayaan-3 has successfully soft-landed on the moon! Congratulations, India!” 

With the successful landing of Vikram Lander on the lunar surface, India has become the first country in the world to successfully carry out soft landing at the south pole of the Moon. The Pragyan rover will now be deployed to gather insights from the natural satellite.
