Important games ahead for the Manu and Manusina Samoa

Samoa #Samoa

Manu Samoa will be the next of the Pacific teams in action over the weekend at the Rugby World Cup when they take on Argentina.

The Pumas are ranked just one place above the Manu in 10th on the world ladder, but while they lost their opening match to England, Samoa won theirs comfortably against Chile.

So a win over the South Americans could see the Samoans well on their way to the knock-out stage for the first time in nearly 20 years.

Meanwhile in Auckland, Samoa’s women’s team, Manusina, will be taking on a New Zealand development side ahead of their trip to South Africa for the first ever WXV Tier 2 tournament.

And while both men’s and women’s team strive to make their mark, Manusina coach, Ramsey Tomokino, says finance is tight and that’s why Lakapi Samoa has launched a fundraising drive, urging businesses and fans alike to put their hands in their pockets.
