‘Imminent agreement’ – Player now ‘step away’ from Fulham, club ‘overtake’ competition from Wolves
Fulham #Fulham
A Bola’s Thursday front page is not a pleasing one for Wolves fans, and is much more positive for Fulham.
It’s stated ‘Marco Silva grabs Palhinha’, and inside the news isn’t any better for Bruno Lage.
Wolves have been strongly linked with the Sporting midfielder for over a week, with a deal seeming a matter of time. Fulham interest has also been covered, however, it’s been Wolves who have been presented as the frontrunners.
A Bola change that.
Inside, it’s reported there’s now an ‘imminent agreement’ for the transfer to Fulham, and Palhinha is a ‘step away’ from the move.
Fulham have raised their offer to €20m, and ‘overtake’ Wolves.
Including bonuses, it’s thought the final figure will rise above €20m. It’s believed the 26-year-old would sign a four year contract with the London club, and fulfil his long term desire to move to the Premier League.
As has been suggested before, A Bola believe the stuttering from Wolves could be related to Ruben Neves, with the midfielder looking no closer to an exit.
The slant is the Neves situation has allowed Fulham to barge their way in.
