‘I’m dying’: Drug dealing suspect tells police he did ‘too much’ meth
Meth #Meth
A man suspected of having methamphetamine with intent to deliver was arrested and charged after allegedly “swerving” his car toward a Guam Police Department vehicle.
About 5 a.m. Sunday, officers were driving in Dededo when they saw a Nissan Altima “swerving excessively towards the officers’ patrol car” before the Altima approached the car head-on and “only got out of the way” when officers turned on their siren.
According to a magistrate’s complaint, Patrick Muna Castro, 48, was identified as the driver.
As an officer approached the car, the officer heard movement in the vehicle and could see Castro “frantically moving his hands between his legs and lap.” The officer then instructed Castro to place his hands on the steering wheel, and Castro complied.
The officer then saw a black pouch with a plastic baggie that was nearly filled with suspected methamphetamine.
“During that time, the defendant told the officer, ‘Please, I need help. I think I did too much, man. I’m dying,'” the complaint stated before adding Castro also allegedly said, “Ice. I think I did too much.”
The complaint indicated the officers saw three resealable bags containing about 15.72 grams of meth, multiple empty bags, a syringe containing meth, several resealable bags containing about 10 grams of a green leafy material and a digital scale.
Castro was charged with possession with intent to deliver a Schedule II controlled substance as a first-degree felony and possession of a Schedule II controlled substance as a third-degree felony.
