I’m a Celebrity’s Chris Moyles has a major disaster in Bushtucker Trial

Tonight’s episode (November 16) of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! saw Chris Moyles suffer a complete disaster in his Bushtucker Trial, with the former Radio 1 DJ getting only one star.

Chris was forced to face his fears during ‘Boiling Point’, which saw him crawling through tight spaces to unscrew stars using a set of spanners.

Tensions were already high in the camp after comedian Babatúndé Aléshé returned to camp with only three stars the previous day, which meant the pressure was on for Chris to win enough food.

However, the radio host wasn’t comfortable in the tight spaces, struggling to stay calm and unscrew the stars from the get-go. “Good god, this is embarrassing,” he said, unable to hold his breath for long enough to retrieve a star underwater.

Things went from bad to worse for Chris after he briefly lost his spanners and let one of the stars fall out of his bag. “This is going to be the worst trial you’ve ever had… I’ve lost my spanners!” he told Ant and Dec.

He added: “Everything’s now fallen out.”

The revelation of lost stars proved too much for a horrified Dec, who exclaimed: “What the stars?”

Unfortunately for Chris, only the stars he had in his bag at the end of the trial counted, meaning he’d managed to secure a single meal to feed the hungry campmates.

“I’m just disappointed,” he reflected, knowing his fellow contestants would be going hungry for another night.

While the presenter was left embarrassed by his trial performance, earning the camp a single fish for dinner, viewers at home were entertained by his antics.

“Lost the stars!? I think this may be the worst trial I’ve seen,” one person tweeted. While others were shocked that Chris seemingly didn’t know how to use a spanner.

“I believe we’ll be seeing you again Mr. Moyles,” another viewer wrote, hinting that the Radio X DJ’s performance may well see himself voted for several more trials in the future.
