One of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’s edge of your seat moments is the live trial, because quite honestly, you never know what you’re going to get.

Tonight’s live episode (November 20) saw the celebrities take on The Royal Tournament trial, which saw the camp split into two teams – the Lords and the Ladies.

They were each pitted against each other in a series of Bushtucker Trials to win gold coins and the team with the most coins won a banquet, so obviously a lot was up for grabs.

Round one saw Jordan and Shane battle against Holly and Ruthie in a trial which saw the celebrities having to stick their heads into troughs of fish guts and other disgusting bits and pieces, and search for coins using only their mouths.

However, viewers claimed to have caught Ruthie using her hands in the trial, mere days after Russell Watson was accused of something very similar.

One viewer tweeted: “Ruthie was so cheating there – she kept sticking her hands in to feel for the coins! Glad the boys won!”

Another wrote: “Ruthie is 100% cheating, putting the coins into her mouth with her hands.”

Then, when it came to counting their coins, Ruthie said there was one more than there actually was in her bucket, before it was checked to make sure. Yikes.

Either way it didn’t help the Ladies, as the Lords took that round anyway with one coin more than the Ladies.

The next trial saw Vernon against Victoria locked in critter-filled cages where they had to unravel the coins. Once again, the Lords won, with Vernon getting 11 coins to Victoria’s six.

Savage Stocks was the next trial which saw AJ and Jessica have to put their head in a box of rats while unravelling coins with their hands. That round saw both celebrities getting eight coins each.

Scare Chairs was the final round with Mo and Russell pitted against Beverly and Giovanna for the last lot of coins.

The trial seemed quite a straightforward task of unscrewing the coins in critter-filled containers, but then a python was put around each of their necks changing the atmosphere completely.

It was close, the Lords managed nine coins while the ladies got eight, making the Lords the winners of the trial and the winners of the banquet while the Ladies will have to survive on rice and beans for dinner.

Oh, and because they lost tonight’s trial the Ladies automatically qualified themselves for the next trial – and it looks brutal.

I’m a Celebrity continues every night on ITV at 9pm, and The Daily Drop with Vick Hope continues at 5.30pm on ITV2.
