IELTS vs. TOEFL: Which exam should you choose for Study Abroad?

However, the test is suitable for candidates studying at high school level or higher. TOEFL PBT exam is administered via a paper and pencil format. This exam measures listening, reading, writing and grammar skills. This exam is only offered in areas where Internet is not available. This exam is being phased out and the TOEFL iBT will be the primary TOEFL exam given to international students. TOEFL is recognized by more than 9,000 colleges, universities and organizations and other TOEFL participating institutes across 130 countries, including Australia, Canada, the U K and the United States.
