The leader of Australia’s largest state has admitted he dressed up as a Nazi on his 21st birthday, delivering an emotional apology.

Dominic Perrottet, 40, the premier of New South Wales and a rising conservative star, spoke to reporters about the Nazi costume he rented and wore almost two decades ago after it was raised with him by one of his cabinet ministers.
