‘I can’t do miracles’: Elon Musk jokes about fixing McDonald’s ice cream machines

Someone photoshopped a fake tweet from Musk writing, “Now I’m going to buy McDonald’s and fix all of the ice cream machines…” The Tesla and SpaceX CEO saw the tweet and commented on it.
“Listen, I can’t do miracles ok,” he tweeted on Wednesday, April 27.
Many folks on Twitter seemed to like the joke as it received more than 1.6 million likes and 146,000 retweets as of the morning of Thursday, April 28. Amanda tweeted, “Oh bloody hell. I actually found this quite funny and now I don’t know who I am anymore.”
“There’s not enough money in the world to fix the McDonald’s ice cream machine,” Kevin Accettulla wrote.
Musk also joked he’s going to buy Coca-Cola to put cocaine back in it, which did happen way back when. The popular soft drink was invented in 1885 by John Pemberton, a pharmacist from Atlanta, who made the original formula of Coca-Cola in his backyard. The original formula did contain cocaine, according to the National Institute of Drug Abuse, a US government web portal.
Musk probably has enough money to fix it after purchasing Twitter for $44 billion this week. He bought the company at $54.20 a share, which was the same price named in his initial offer on April 14.
As for the reason for the buy, Musk said he wants Twitter to be a place where free speech is allowed. He has been outspoken in his criticism of Twitter moderation, describing himself as a “free speech absolutist.”
