Remy Gardner’s adventure in MotoGP ended with the last chapter taking place in the final race of the year in Valencia and in the end the australian admitted to being relaxed on the one hand, although he assured that he will miss MotoGP and highlighted (once again) that he doesn’t feel that his time in the category has expired. Leaves the class with no regrets.

At the end of his last race in the category, at Circuit Ricardo Tormo, the australian was asked if he was relieved that everything had come to an end, and he didn’t hide it: ‘Yes, I’m pretty relaxed. I’m glad I don’t have to get on that thing again to be honest, hopefully yeah’.

And if he’s going to miss MotoGP, Gardner didn’t hide that yes, mainly because being in the category was also a childhood dream for which he worked a lot: ‘For sure. I will miss the friends I got here, the family… It was something I wanted to continue, obviously it was a dream that we were working my whole life, so many sacrificies. Definitely I’m going to miss being here’.

And he assured later that he still feels that he (still) doesn’t feel his time in the category was over, being sure that he would still have more to give: ‘I didn’t feel like my time was up yet. It is still strange, it doesn’t feel like my timing is up yet but… I guess it is. Regrets? Nothing. No regrets’.
