‘Hypocrisy at its worst’: Jim Jordan destroyed for slamming Hunter Biden’s subpoena snub

Republican members of the House hit out at Hunter Biden Wednesday, claiming he was refusing to appear before their committee while — just outside the door on Capitol Hill — Biden was at a press conference saying he continues to be more than willing to meet with lawmakers in public but refuses to be questioned in secret.
Rep. James Comer (R-KY) snapped at reporters, telling them they didn’t know what they were talking about when they peppered him with questions.
And Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) ranted that, when Congress calls someone to appear, then they should appear. Jordan refused to comply to a subpoenaed by Congress to appear before the Jan. 6 committee.
Social media exploded with attacks and mockery of the lawmakers.
“Jim Jordan – ‘When Congress asks you to come to testify, you come.’ Unless your name is Jim Jordan and you don’t feel like it,” said X user Henry M. Rosenberg.
Sophia Nelson agreed. “We must look like an embarrassment to the world. Where does Rep. #JimJordan get the balls to talk about obeying Congressional subpoenas. I’m just speechless! It’s hypocrisy at its worst!”

“Jim Jordan always looks like he just swallowed a bottle of Prednisone,” said Philadelphia reporter Will Bunch.
Andy Ostroy said that Comer and Jordan “look like a couple of pathetic evidence-bankrupt bozos. And not for nuthin’, Jimbo, but someone like you who defiantly refused to obey a Congressional subpoena should STFU.”
“Wow. This makes the James Comers and Jim Jordan’s look petty,” said former Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL).
Joe Biden’s campaign pushed out a video of Jordan speaking to Fox, and bragging that the Republican impeachment is just another stunt to hurt Biden: “I think all that together is why you see the poll numbers where they are at,” Jordan said.
And Medias Touch laughed at Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) for annoying her GOP colleagues with her conspiracies about sex trafficking. “Jordan cuts her off and walks away.” The press availability ended after that.
Aaron Ropar similarly laughed at the moment: “When you’re embarrassing to the likes of Jim Comer and Jim Jordan.”
“Jim Jordan – it’s been over 550 days since you FAILED to show up to answer your subpoena and deposition in connection with trying to overturn the 2020 election. Maybe you shouldn’t be the front man on this, just saying!” posted Skyleigh Heinen-Uhrich.
Melanie D’Arrigo told Jordan and Comer that if they “want to investigate using the presidency for influence peddling, then start with how Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner made billions from business deals with China and Saudi Arabia from Donald Trump’s time in office.”
