Hulu Debuts First Images of Lily James, Sebastian Stan in ‘Pam & Tommy’

Lily James and Sebastian Stan have become Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee in the first photos from Hulu’s upcoming limited series Pam & Tommy.

The streamer, which released the images Friday, is teaming with writers Rob Siegel and DV DeVincentis for a comedic take of the true story behind the release of the first-ever viral video in history: the former couple’s famed sex tape.

Picked up to series in December, the eight-episode series tracks the relationship between then-Baywatch star Anderson and Mötley Crüe drummer Lee, who married less than a week after they met in 1995. A tape they made having sex during their honeymoon was stolen from their home and distributed online. Anderson and Lee sued the distributor, Internet Entertainment Group, and eventually reached a settlement under which the tape became public again.

Anderson and Lee are not involved in the series. Seth Rogen — who stars as Rand, the guy who stole the tape — exec produces the series alongside his Point Grey partner Evan Goldberg. Annapurna Television is the studio. Craig Gillespie (I, Tonya; Disney+’s Cruella) is set to direct.

The cast also includes Nick Offerman as porn impresario Uncle Miltie; Taylor Schilling as Rand’s wife; Andrew Dice Clay as a mob guy; Pepi Sonuga as Pam’s best friend; Spencer Granese as Steve Fasanella, a colleague of Miltie’s; and Mozhan Marnò as Gail, a powerhouse publicist.

A premiere date for Pam & Tommy has not yet been determined.
