HS VOLLEYBALL: Greenwood won’t compete in playoffs due to COVID-19 quarantine

The Greenwood volleyball team won’t be participating in the Class 4A playoffs after players on both its varsity and junior varsity teams have been quarantined following contact tracing related to COVID-19.
Greenwood closed school Monday to deal with COVID-19.
Rangerettes head coach Amy Long said Tuesday that District 2-4A voted to move Seminole into the third seed, and Pecos into the fourth seed in the Class 4A playoffs.
Greenwood finished the 2020 campaign with a 15-8 record and earned the No. 3 seed in District 2-4A after finishing third with a 6-4 record.
The Rangerettes rallied to beat Seminole, 25-27, 22-25, 25-15, 25-18, 15-6, in their regular season finale last Saturday.
