How to watch Five Nights at Freddy’s right now
FNAF #FNAF
Five Nights at Freddy’s has finally arrived after an eight-year wait for fans to see the video game series make it to the big screen.
The movie centres on security guard Mike Schmidt (Josh Hutcherson), who takes a night-time gig looking after the derelict Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza restaurant. After his first night at work, though, Mike realises the new job might be more trouble than it’s worth.
Unlike most major releases, Five Nights at Freddy’s has received a simultaneous streaming release in the US, so if you want to know how to watch the new movie right now, we’re here to help.
Universal
If you want to experience Five Nights at Freddy’s on the big screen, then you can head to your favourite cinema to watch it as it’s out right now.
However, if you’d rather watch it at home, Five Nights at Freddy’s has also been released simultaneously on Peacock in the US.
If you’re in the US and not a Peacock subscriber, you can sign up for $5.99 a month (with ads) or $11.99 a month (without ads). You could also pick a yearly subscription of $59.99 (with ads) or $119.99 (without ads). Note you’ll also need to be physically located in the US to be able to stream Peacock content.
While Peacock is available via Sky and NOW in the UK, the content is completely different. So Five Nights at Freddy’s is only available to watch at cinemas in the UK right now.
Universal
It will be released on digital platforms in the coming weeks, so you’ll be able to rent it at home (likely for the premium price of £15.99), but FNAF won’t be released in time for Halloween.
Universal has yet to confirm a UK digital release date for Five Nights at Freddy’s, but it’ll likely be at least a month after its cinema release, so potentially late November.
Five Nights at Freddy’s is out now in cinemas and is also available to stream on Peacock in the US.
