What is, a heartfelt tribute?

“Jeopardy” honored late host Alex Trebek on Tuesday’s “Tournament of Champions” episode with a category called “Remembering Alex Trebek.”

“The man, the myth, the legend. We miss you, Alex. We’re honoring Alex Trebek’s memory in tonight’s special exhibition game,” the show’s Twitter account captioned a clip of the clues.

Past champions Amy Schneider, Matt Amodio, and Mattea Roach tackled clues centered on the beloved host’s life including Trebek’s hometown, his college major and his breakfast of choice.

“Alex’s favorite parody of himself was this fellow Canadian on ‘SCTV’ who spoofed him as Alex Trebel, host of “Half Wits,’” host Ken Jennings said as he read one clue.

“What’s Levy?” Amodio correctly identified Eugene Levy.

But one clue, in particular, stumped all three contestants. They were shown a picture of a hardware tool Trebek had in his collection, but no one was able to correctly identify it as a woodruff key.

“You were all each not close at all on that,” Jennings joked at their very off guesses.

Trebek died of pancreatic cancer on Nov. 8, 2020 at the age of 80. He hosted the show for nearly 37 seasons.

Jennings and “The Big Bang Theory” alum Mayim Bialik have been splitting hosting duties based on Bialik’s filming schedule for her Fox sitcom “Call Me Kat.”

However, production of the show has been postponed indefinitely since actor Leslie Jordan’s untimely death last month.

Both hosts have had their fair share of growing pains — with Jennings even admitting that it’s easier to be a “Jeopardy” contestant than the host.
