Holly Willoughby has reportedly left the National Television Awards early tonight – after being booed. Holly, aged 41, was booed after her name was called out, alongside Phillip Schofield’s, as the nominees were announced.
The mum of three has faced a backlash in recent days amid the queue jump row. Holly was accused of skipping the line at the Queen lying in state, after the 96 year old monarch died last month on September 8, at Balmoral in Scotland.
Holly shrugged off the boos when her name was read out to collect a gong with ITV This Morning tonight. But she didn’t stick around long, according to reports.

“Holly picked up her award for Best Daytime and then left 30 minutes after,” The Sun reports a source as saying. “Normally she stays around for a drink with Phil and the team but she did an Irish exit. She was seen leaving the ceremony and getting into a car outside just after 10pm.”

On stage tonight, Schofield said: “Don’t think we ever get complacent and please don’t think we ever take this for granted. This means so much to us every year, especially this year.
“We have the most amazing team. I have the best friend, we have the best boss.” Willoughby added: “Thank you so much, this award means everything because it is voted by you, and I think This Morning has a very special relationship with you. You make our show for us, you really do.”
