Jake Paul taunted Conor McGregor in the aftermath of his defeat to Dustin Poirier at UFC 257, saying his offer of a $50m fight has now gone down to $10,000 – in cash!
Poirier pulled off the greatest victory of his career by gaining revenge to losing to the Irishman seven years ago by pulling off a brilliant second-round knockout-victory at UFC 257.
And YouTube boxer Paul, who has offered to fight The Notorious, screamed with jubilation in a video on social media saying: ‘Hey Conor, I got $10,000 for you, cash! Cash, baby! Oh… you had $50 million!’

Dustin Poirier has knocked out Conor McGregor to send a shock through the lightweight rank
In the build-up to his fight on Saturday night, McGregor was asked about Paul and addressed the 2-0 boxer’s claims and antics.
‘You know, that is what it is,’ he told BT Sport. ‘We’ll see what happens, he seems like a confused little kid to me, to be honest.
‘He’s willing to get in there, I don’t know what’ll happen, it’s not on the radar at the minute with the young lad.
‘I have a teammate [Dillon Danis] – him and Dillon have been back-and-forth, so you never know.’
The Diamond vowed to upset the odds in his highly-anticipated rematch with the Irishman
McGregor’s defeat represents a huge setback to his plans to regain his lightweight title.
The Irishman was hoping a victory over Poirier would set up a rematch with arch rival Khabib Nurmagomedov, having lost to the Dagestani in October 2018.
Saturday’s loss, which is McGregor’s first defeat by knockout, leaves questions over his championship prospects.
And having survived McGregor’s typical fast start, Poirier got in his groove and found his range
‘That low calf kick was very good, my leg was dead and I wasn’t as comfortable as I wanted to be,’ he told Jon Anik, straight afterwards.
‘Dustin is some fighter. I have to dust it off and come back and that is what I will do. I need activity guys come on, you don’t get away with being inactive in this business.
‘I’ll take my licks, I am gutted man I put in so much work. It’s a tough one to swallow. I would have liked to represent my team better but I’m gonna chill with my kids and that is it.’
