Here’s What LeBron James Said After Lakers-Clippers Game On Wednesday

Following a 125-118 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers, here is what Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James said.
Putting their four-game win streak on the line against the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday night, the Los Angeles Lakers fell short, losing 125-118 to the Clippers.
Not only does this loss mean that the Clippers swept the season series against the Lakers for the third consecutive season, but this was a game that had heavy playoff implications in the Western Conference.
With a win, the Lakers would have moved up to the 5-seed in the conference with only two games remaining, but instead, they are now tied with the New Orleans Pelicans in the standings for the 7-seed and reside a full game back of both the Clippers and Golden State Warriors for both the 5-seed and 6-seed.
After scoring a game-high 33 points and also recorded eight rebounds and seven assists, Lakers star LeBron James spoke to the media.
“This is one of those scheduling conflicts in the season,” James said with a smirk. “Definitely got the best of it tonight.”
The “scheduling conflict” that James was referring to was the fact that this was the Lakers’ second game in as many nights, as they defeated the Utah Jazz on the road in overtime on Tuesday night.
Entering Wednesday’s game, both LeBron James and Anthony Davis were listed as questionable due to injuries and soreness they have been dealing with all season.
As a result, both James and Davis were somewhat limited in their minutes even though they both played over 30 minutes in the game.
Head coach Darvin Ham addressed this, stating that the coaching staff did what they did to keep their players in “good standing healthwise” the rest of the season.
With just two games remaining on their schedule against the Phoenix Suns and Utah Jazz, the Los Angeles Lakers will need to win both of these games and have either the Clippers or Warriors lose one of their final two games in order to avoid having to fight for a playoff spot in the Western Conference Play-In Tournament.
