Heat warning ends with 29 C high Wednesday, cool night ahead

The heat warning is over with a high of 29 C under mixed skies in the forecast for Wednesday.
And throw open the windows Wednesday night with an expected low of 13 C overnight, according to Environment and Climate Change Canada.
There was just a trace of precipitation at the Ottawa airport Tuesday, with no risk of showers now until Sunday night. (That followed the record dry May, and little rain since.)

In the meantime, the forecast features a mix of sun and cloud, highs in the mid-20s and cooler nights right through the weekend.
Thursday is expected to be 26 C with a low of 12 C. Friday is forecast to be 23 C with a low of 12 C. Saturday is 26 C with a low of 13 C. Sunday is 25 C with a low of 14 C.
There’s a 60 per cent chance of some welcome showers Sunday night, Monday and Monday night.
Monday’s forecast high is 24 C with a low of 13 C — spot-on seasonal for this time of year.
