EARLIER
James Harmes has nominated the Western Bulldogs in a trade request.
As first reported by SEN’s Tom Morris, Harmes is seeking a trade to the Whitten Oval after falling out of favour at Melbourne in recent months.
The 28-year-old played just nine games in 2023, three of which saw him start as the substitute.
Harmes is under contract, meaning an agreement will need to be struck between the Demons and Bulldogs if he is to move clubs.
The 2021 premiership player has played 152 games at the Demons since joining Melbourne as a rookie back in 2013.
