Happy schools
Happy Friyay #HappyFriyay
Sustaining happy learning spaces and practices needs system-wide approaches. UNESCO supports policy-makers to re-imagine education systems from the happiness lens, considering the people, processes, places, and principles that make going to school a happy and productive experience for all.
What we are doing:
In the future, UNESCO aims to engage more countries to develop a national happy schools framework. It will support policy-makers and administrators to develop, implement, and monitor policies and programmes to enhance happiness in schools to improve learning.
UNESCO will continue to influence the global understanding of what makes a quality education by recognizing the importance of happiness in and for learning, leading to changes in education policies, curricula, pedagogy, assessments, and school environments.
