Many of us are traveling again, making up for lost time, going to places that mean the most to us. I’m ending 2022 with a trip to see the mountain gorillas in Rwanda, something I’ve put off for three years, and I’ll be reporting back, no doubt. With photos.

Every year since 2014 I’ve created a list of my favorite travel posts from the past year. They make for good armchair travel on a cold night. Even better, I hope you get to read these posts while waiting in an airport, about to go on a special trip of your own! Happy Holidays! See you in 2023 as we continue to explore the world.
