Ben Hanley will serve as Ben Keating’s full-time co-driver in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship next year with United Autosports.

The Englishman, who is coming off LMP2 class victory in last weekend’s Motul Petit Le Mans, was confirmed for the season-long drive on Tuesday, moving over from CrowdStrike Racing by APR.

Hanley took part in several FIA World Endurance Championship races for the Anglo-American team this year, subbing for its WetherTech Championship-bound drivers. Alex Quinn will complete United’s lineup for the Michelin Endurance Cup races.

“It’s great to be part of United Autosports’ first full season in IMSA next year,” said Hanley. “I had a great feeling with the team in the few races I did this year and I’m really excited to see what we can achieve in 2024.”

United Autosports CEO Richard Dean added: “Ben is a quality professional with a ton of IMSA and LMP experience. We have wanted to work with Ben for quite some 4me now and we have had him in a United car sporadically this year with great success.

“We now have the chance to turn that into a full season working together alongside Ben Keating and Alex Quinn. This is a formidable lineup and underlines how seriously we are taking our full season IMSA program next year.”

Keating won this year’s LMP2 title with PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports, which will partner with Inter Europol Competition next year, while Hanley’s seat at CrowdStrike by APR is rumored to be taken up by Colin Braun.
