As Game Three of the Oklahoma City Dodgers’ series against the Reno Aces draws to a close, the Dodgers extend their win streak to five.

Game One on Tuesday saw an excellent performance by Dodgers centerfielder Trayce Thompson. Out of five at-bats, Thompson collected three hits, three runs and 2 RBIs.

Dodgers second baseman Miguel Vargas also put on a show, with four at-bats, with two hits, two runs and two RBIs on the way to the team’s 13-6 win over Reno.

Wednesday’s game also saw over a dozen runs, albeit with a closer final score, in the Dodgers’ 13-11 win over the Aces.

The Dodgers saw four runs in the second inning and five in the ninth, providing just enough to break an 8-8 tie headed into that final inning. Despite three runs by Reno in the ninth, the Dodgers were able to hold on long enough for another win.

On Thursday, the Dodgers were able to score two runs in the sixth inning on their way to a 2-1 win. The team now looks to wrap up their series in Reno with games on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
