Baltimore Orioles infield prospect Gunnar Henderson (hand) was out of the starting lineup on Tuesday because he’s dealing with a sore right hand from a play on Monday night after it swelled up on him a little bit during the game, according to manager Brandon Hyde. “He’s fine, just it’s tender,” Hyde said. Henderson is available to pinch hit on Tuesday night against the Texas Rangers. The 21-year-old should be considered day-to-day for now, and he could be back in the lineup shortly, possibly as early as Wednesday. The former second-round pick in 2019 hit his first home run of the year on Monday night, but he has just two hits in his first 12 at-bats (.167) while walking six times and striking out six times.
