GTA 6 Could Be Announced for PS5 Later This Week 1

The most anticipated game in eons could be announced later this week, as Bloomberg reports that Rockstar is plotting an imminent reveal of GTA 6. According to reliable journalist Jason Schreier, citing sources familiar with the publisher’s plans, a trailer will follow in early December to celebrate the company’s 25th anniversary. That means we’ll likely only get a logo to begin with, as per previous announcements from the iconic label.

It’s been a decade since GTA 5 launched, and Rockstar openly acknowledged ongoing development on a sequel after assets leaked a little while back. Speculation suggests this will be a Bonnie & Clyde-style storyline, where you’ll be able to play as both a male and female protagonist. It’s also said to be set in a fictional Miami, and, considering the success of GTA Online, is almost guaranteed to have a heavy multiplayer component alongside its traditional single player campaign.

As big GTA fans, we’re really looking forward to the new game. While the developer has done an outstanding job maintaining and updating GTA 5 over the past ten years, the gameplay hasn’t exactly aged gracefully, and all of the new content in GTA Online feels dated as a result. We’re hoping this new version really reinvents the series’ control scheme, which is clunky and unresponsive by modern standards.
