Buriram: Urawa Red Diamonds were at their best to defeat Shandong Taishan 5-0 in Group F of the AFC Champions League™ 2022 as the two-time champions booked their spot in the Round of 16.

Urawa, who missed the last two editions of the continental showpiece, registered their fourth win of the campaign at the Buriram City Stadium to take their place among the elite sides in the knockout stage.

Pathum Thani: BG Pathum United eventually advanced to the AFC Champions League™ knockout stage despite only managing a 0-0 draw against now-eliminated Jeonnam Dragons at Pathum Thani Stadium on Saturday.

For the second successive match, the Thai League side had the opportunity to advance to the Round of 16 with a win, and for the second time they failed to take advantage, but Melbourne City’s 3-0 win over United City later on Sunday wasn’t enough to overhaul them in top spot in Group G.
